METAPROCESSES AS SOFTWARE ASSETS IN THE TELEHEALTH DOMAIN

Abstract


The main purpose of this research is to presenta strategy by which Meta-processes are developed intoSoftware Assets in the Tele-Health domain. This researchhas a social impact in terms about: Health crisis-solutionsfor resource optimization, possible reduction of medicalerrors and ease at notational level. And scientific impact in:Reuse in early stages, metaprocess instantiation in differentdomains and oriented software development models.Lastly,progress has been made in the Metaprocesses conceptualreview and software assets, as well as in the knowledge ofthe chosen Telehealth domain, particularly informationregarding the study of protocols and guidelines forcardiovascular risk programs. Our research has allowed usto evidence the absence of standard protocols to triagepatients with cardiovascular risk; therefore, themetaprocesses proposal along with its respectivemetamodels allow from its instantiation and personalization,according to the patients characteristics.
