M-LEARNING OF “ELECTRONICS†FOR UNDERGRADUATES IN TELECOMMUNICATIONS ENGINEERING

Abstract

This paper presents a work-in progress about a software to be installed in mobiles designed to create an mlearning tool for teaching Telecommunications Engineering’s students the subject “Electronics†in a degree following the European Space for Higher Education (ESHE) and using a mobile collaborative system. The offered services included in the on-line tool are such as teletutorials, tele-assistance, the exchange of files and a chat room, among other students or private lecturer-student and has assigned 0,2 European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). The current pilot phase is being conducted with the help of 2nd-year Telecommunications engineering students taking the subject of Electronics. The sampling will confirm the tool’s suitability by means of two indicators: academic performance and a satisfaction survey for both students and professors.
