MOTOR LINEAR DE INDUÇÃO BIFÁSICO: CONSTRUÇÃO DE UM PROTÓTIPO CONTROLADO POR INVERSOR DE FREQUÊNCIA

The linear motor is used in many areas,especially in the transportation field, like the high speedtrains. This paper presents a complementary study, designand experimentation of an existent two-phase linearinduction motor. It was performed the prototypeimprovement and installation of end-course sensors as wellas the design of a new secondary (car), the speed controlthrough frequency inverter and a breaking system and speedreversion. In this work, were developed all of the electricalmotor concepts, using the parameters of two-phase rotatingmotor, applied to the Linear Induction Motor feed by a Scotttransformer. The results show the performance of theprototype using the programmable frequency inverter toallow speed control and reversion employing two magneticsensors.
