Abstract


The teaching of experimental physics is deficientbecause in many schools there is no lab equipment. So manyof our students have not had any Physics lab before theircollege education. In order to overcome this problem, wehave developed a set of experiments in the area of Optics,where the student can either verify some topics seen in thetheoretical lecture or can inferred some theoretical conceptsfrom a set of experiments. In this approach we ask thestudents to write a short paper about what they are going tomeasure. Later on they perform the experiments. Adiscussion between the agreement (or disagreement) of whatwas predicted and what was achieved follow. Finally thestudents answer some questions that are presented to themin a laboratory guide.
