DESARROLLO DE UNA PLATAFORMA REMOTA DE PRÁCTICAS DE SISTEMAS AUDIOVISUALES PARA SU UTILIZACIÓN EN LOS NUEVOS GRADOS DEL EEES

Abstract

This pedagogical innovation project consists ofdesigning a remote platform for practical laboratory work(weblab). The platform will be used in thetelecommunications laboratory at the University of Deustofor practical classes on video/image compression, DigitalVideo Broadcasting - Terrestrial (DVB-T) signal analysisand broadcasting. The platform enables the remotecomputers to register the received signal where the studentsare working, so that they are able to assess the developedresults without having to be in the telecommunicationlaboratory. The specific teaching units have been developedby the lecturers involved and fulfil the guidelines of theEuropean Higher Education Area (EHEA). The subject isgiven in Audiovisual Systems engineering degrees.Evaluation of the methodology has been carry out by thelecturers and the laboratory assistant teachers by means ofsatisfaction surveys.Index Terms ⎯ Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior(EEES), Sistemas Audiovisuales, Televisión DigitalTerrestre (TDT/ DVB-T).
