ANÁLISE DA PRODUÇÃO E APROVEITAMENTO ENERGÉTICO DO BIOGÁS NO ATERRO SANITÁRIO DA CIDADE DE PORTO VELHO RO

Abstract

The biogas is a biofuel that is composed mainlyby methane, which is generate by decomposition of organicmaterial from anaerobic digestion. Rondônia have futureprojects in the field of sanitary landfills implementation,which can be used for the extraction of the biogas and,concomitantly, for the energy generation in the State, whichwill guarantee the efficient management of the residues thatcome from this landfills. This article analyses the possibilityof production and use of the energy that extract from thebiogas of the landfills of Porto Velho (RO), having in mindthat a good management of the biogas contributes for thegeneration of income and in the reduction of the green housegases.Index Terms - Biogas, landfills, Energy Matrix.
