REPRESENTAÇÕES ESTUDANTIS DE SOCIEDADES CIENTÍFICAS COMO FORMA DE PROMOVER E INTEGRAR ESTUDANTES E A ENGENHARIA

Abstract

This paper proposes a new approach to promoteand integrate students and engineering through the creationof student representation. There are many scientific societiesrepresenting engineering with objective of developmentscience and technology. Studies show that although Brazil isa large country, there is a deficiency in training engineers,and the reasons are diverse, ranging from a lack ofknowledge of what engineering even the motivation of thestudent who is already within the university, thus leading totheir withdrawal. Through the creation of studentsrepresentations was found a way to promote, motivate andintegrate students and engineering, thus enabling theexchange of experiences and ideas and to develop technicalskills through extracurricular activities. Moreover, with thecreation of these committees student opens a new form ofcommunication between scientific societies and universitiesestablishing a new form for the development of engineering.
