SISTEMA TUTOR INTELIGENTE PARA APOIO AO ENSINO DE PROJETOS DE ENGENHARIA GEOTÉCNICA
Abstract
This work analyzes the Intelligent TutoringSystems (ITS) and applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI)in education, highlighting its importance to a) provideindividualized instruction, b) to characterize the object of amultidisciplinary research, to pinpoint and analyze thespecific requirements of students, teachers and the specificcontent in question. Briefly describes the planning andimplementation of an ITS for teaching GeotechnicalEngineering, relating this description to the featuresproposed in the literature for this type of application, as wellas the technical solutions implemented in each module of thesystem with those necessities of teaching (teacher), oflearning (student) and the domain (content), inter-related inthe educational setting established by the STI.
