OPM3: UMA ANÁLISE DA MATURIDADE EM GERENCIAMENTO DE PROJETOS DE TRÊS ORGANIZAÇÕES PERNAMBUCANAS

Abstract


This paper describes the results of a surveyconducted in three sub-organizations located in theBrazilian state of Pernambuco that belong to distinctsegments, which were named Organization X, Y and Z tomaintain the confidentiality of information. The surveyassessed the levels of maturity in project managementorganizations through the application of the model OPM3(Organizational Project Management Maturity Model).Data were collected through structured questionnairesproposed by the model and the data subsequently receivedan analysis and interpretation aided by a supporting tool. Atthe last moment there was an unstructured interview toidentify the best practices of maturity in project managementthat were common among these organizations. The paperalso reveals the existence of a strong relationship betweenthe organizational environment, human factors and theirlevels of maturity in project management.Index Terms ⎯ Organization Maturity, ProjectManagement, Maturity Model.
