O HIPERVÍDEO COMO SUPORTE AO ENSINO DE MODELAGEM 3D

Abstract


This paper discusses the flexibility that’spossible using digital videos to transmit information in adistance learning course. Actually the video has been usedin two approaches. The first mode is distance learning totransmit the content over the Internet or TV, and a secondmode is inside class as a support content, incrementing theinformation presented. It is observed that the digital video isavailable in many cases as a linear presentation in whichthe student is only a spectator. Within some fields ofknowledge this pattern may be satisfactory but in otherswhere interactivity and experimentation with the object ofstudy is needed, the traditional video may becomeinsufficient. One of the disciplines that require this degree ofexperimentation is the 3D modeling for architecture andengineering. This paper suggests use of hypervideos within aWeb environment to bring more interactivity creatinggreater efficiency in learning.Keywords - hypervideo, interactive video, e-learning, multimedia,interactivity.
