Abstract

Turning engineering of the coastal lowland andnorthern regions of Rio de Janeiro State to be movealternative of the right-school students from application,ordinary and technical schools, as well as to technicianscurrently integrating the working staff of regional industries,and offering new options of academic formation withincurrent expectations of teaching, research and extensionactivities, all legal requirements being net, and having inview the excellence of quality of the overall process is themain objective of this proposal. Its main guideline resides inthe possibility the newcomer to the technical superior-levelcourse proceed with his continued formation and integrationcompanies and schools, including learning outside theclassroom, that show potential to meet, even partially, thehuman resources needs of the productive sector of theregions.
