Abstract


One of the critical items to achieving softwarequality is the use of traceability as a way to ensure theverification of the specifications required by users to bereflected in the product satisfactorily. The implementation ofmechanisms to ensure traceability is a major difficulty facedmainly by small and medium enterprises. One of the usualways to improve the quality of the software product is theadoption of reference models focused on processimprovement. In this context, this article aims to analyzethrough a case study conducted within an enterprisesoftware development, the results of using a tool developedto ensure and demonstrate traceability betweenrequirements and work products, specifically during theimplementation of the Reference Model for Improvement inBrazilian Software (MPS.BR) in their level of maturity G.Index Terms ⎯ MPS.BR, Software Quality, SoftwareRequirements, Traceability.
