Abstract


Nowadays, it has observed a large increase atinvestments in practices and knowledge at softwaredevelopment project, aiming at obtains lower costs, increasethe quality, and consequently to reach the success in project.Several adverse events might affect the software quality, inthis context risks management has become more importantand necessary, as the main factor for success of the project.Concept Maps are instruments used to represent graphicallythe knowledge about a specific content. The representationof knowledge in software development risk area, shows as bea good alternative in risk identification process, makingclearer the perception and comprehension of adverse eventsat project, because it structures the knowledge in the samemanner as the used one by the cognitive brain process. Thusarticle proposes a new technique of risk identification usingconcept maps, targeting to expose the possible risks insoftware development project that can affect themnegatively.Index Terms ⎯ Risk Management, Project Management,Concept Maps, Requirements Risks.
