APLICAÇÃO DO FLUXO DE CARGA CONTINUADO NA AVALIAÇÃO DO BALANÇO DE REATIVOS DURANTE A REDUÇÃO DAS PERDAS ATIVAS NA TRANSMISSÃO
Abstract
An alternative method to reduce real powerlosses in the transmission of electric power systems waspresented in reference [1]. The results show that thisprocedure generally leads to an increase in the maximumloading point and therefore improving the static voltagestability margin and , simultaneously, the voltage profile.From a strictly didactic point of view, the proposed paperaims to show the effects of the re-dispatch of controlvariables on the reduction of the real power losses in thetransmission lines. Moreover, it also investigates the effectscaused by this reduction in the voltage stability margin. So,the goal is to use the IEEE 14 bus system to clear how thereactive power balance occurs, and how the bus voltagemagnitudes variations are processed, during the reductionprocedure of system real power loss.Index Terms ⎯ Voltage stability, Continuation power flow,transmission losses, Reactive power balance.
