Abstract


Currently the use of nets of the type Modbus,Profibus, Devicenet, Compobus, among others, if finds in thecontext of the industrial nets, as much in solutionsproprietors as in the standards developed for the IEEE, forexample. The applications for this type of net, capable arediverse in control systems and can be useful in control ofenergy. An example is the control of energy in systems ofirrigation through the job of Variable Drive Frequency(VFD). Variable Drive Frequency in accordance with varythe engine speeds the greater or minor necessity of outflowor pressure or temperature of each zone of control, in anapplication of irrigation system. When reduce the rotationspeed, the VFD provide great economy of energy. This workwill demonstrate an application of this net, in theAgricultural area, as form of communication protocol entersthe devices in a Center Pivot Irrigation Systems.Index Terms ⎯ Irrigation System, Center Pivot,Communication protocol, Variable Drive Frequency.
