AVALIAÇÃO AMBIENTAL NO CAMPUS II DA PUC-CAMPINAS

Abstract

In this paper are presented the results of theenvironmental evaluation done in the Campus II of theCatholic University of Campinas, where are located the Centerof Life Sciences and Censo Pierro Hospital. Based on themethodology “Campus Environmental Audit” [11], thefollowing themes are commented: waste recycle; hospital,hazardous, dangerous and radioactive solid wastes; wastewaterand rainwater. The educational and institutional environmentare focused to certification of the Campus activities, searchingfor the excellence in the services to the community. It is done acontribution to the diagnostic and evaluation of theenvironmental situation of the Campus. It is very important theimprovement of the environmental conditions, because manyaspects need and can be improved even considering that manyaspects are adequate.Key words - environement, environmental management,education, University campus.
