EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL NA AMAZÔNIA: A EXPERIÊNCIA ESCOLAR UTILIZANDO HISTÓRIAS EM QUADRINHOS

Abstract


Two comic books themed trash and organicagriculture were developed and implemented in the cities ofItaituba and brief. In the city of Itaituba magazines wereapplied to school children and children of farmers. Inaddition to stories, activities were developed as thepreparation of posters, workshops, garden designs,engineers, agronomists meetings open to the community,lectures in schools to students from 5 to 8 series. In the townof Breves implementation of comic book was used as analternative method of the teaching-learning programs inschools from the 5th to 8th grades, as regards the approachto environmental education, seeking work in garbagedisposal. There was a deepening of schedules and methodsused in these schools for setting and awareness about theissue. The work was encouraged by the Faculty of NaturalSciences UFPA which funded the making of the magazines.Index Terms - Environmental education, comic book, trash,pesticides.
