TIRA-TEIMA: UMA FERRAMENTA PARA APRENDIZAGEM DE PROGAMAÇÃO A DISTÂNCIA

Abstract

Tira-teima is a program developed at the Departmentof Computer Science at the University of Brasiliain order to support programming courses in a distance learningenvironment. It consists of an application built in Java,to simulate the execution of a software written in Pascal.Tira-teima enables students to view, for a program, step bystep, the variables declared and their current values. It alsoallows the student to view the files in use and which elementis being read or written to the console. It has a special area toshow to students some explanation that the teacher considersnecessary in a particular step. This tool can be seen withinthe Tutorial ICC, used for teaching Introduction to ComputerScience at UnB ( www.cic.unb.br/~homero/tutorial icc).Index Terms – Introduction to Computer Science, VisualizationTool, Distance Learning.
