PROPOSTA DE INSERÇÃO DA DISCIPLINA DE CÁLCULO NUMÉRICO EM COMPUTADORES NOS CURSOS DE ENGENHARIA E CIÊNCIAS DA COMPUTAÇÃO – UMA ABORDAGEM CURRICULAR INTEGRATIVA

Abstract


The present paper presents new possibilities ofinsertion of a Numerical Calculus discipline looking forEngineering and Computer Science curriculum in terms ofintegrative view in education. Migration from traditionalcurriculum view, or disciplinary view, to integrative view, isin accordance with globalization demands in technologicalcareers. The Integrative Curriculum approach is also calledInverted Curriculum or even Project Oriented Curriculum.It is presented a theoretical proposal in terms of curriculumorganization looking for the integrative view which is bornafter years of concrete experience in the Numerical Calculusdiscipline from Engineering and Computer Sciences coursesin the Federal University Santa Catarina. The proposal isenough generic to support several kinds of implementationsincluding its adaptation to traditional sequentialcurriculums.
