REGULAMENTAÇÃO PROFISSIONAL E O ENSINO TECNOLÓGICO

Abstract


The Ministry of Education has a system ofparticipatory work with the academy community and othersegments alike that form a national reference ofundergraduate courses. The goal is to contribute with theevaluation, regulation and supervision of the courses.Considering engineering field it is planned to reduce thenumber of denomination of engineering courses from morethen two hundred to only 22. Simultaneously another group,Federal Council of Engineering, Architecture andAgronomy, has a Resolution that regulates assignments ofprofessional titles, activities, competences andcharacterization of the field of action of the professionalsinserted in such professional council. That way, the divisionof competences changes for supervision matters andaccreditation. How will those changes affect the curriculumof the engineering courses? Was there enough reflection putinto it? What will happen with the ones who already have amajor in engineering?
