Our actions are guided by values and apersonal and social ethical code. These are supported bycultural and subjective aspects but, in the globalized world, they are impregnated with values imposed by the productivesystem. The so called contemporaneity brings arelativization of values and a decrease of importance givento tradition and authority. The aim of our desires are“disposable” and do not last long. Science andtechnology are constituted to keep up with such demand. Themain focus is to attend the consumption market avid forinnovations. What is the ethical limit of this dynamic? Whattypes of alternative values would be interesting for thesocial, economical and environmental balance of the planet?Index Terms ⎯ Educação tecnológica, technologicaleducation, ética, ethics, valores, values, contemporaneidade, contemporary, ciência, science.
