Abstract


The oil is a product of great importance in theworld, mainly in our present time. It is difficult determineany segment, in the society of consumption of the homosapiens,that depend not straight or indirectly of the oil. Itconstitutes itself in raw material of the petrochemical andoil-producing industry that is in responsible part by theeconomic development of a nation. In this article, theinterest is going to verify the activities involved in theutilization of the oil as spring of energy and the relation ofthese activities with the impacts caused in the environment.The study in private aims at the service regarding to theexploitation, transport, storage and distribution of the oil,responsible by the pollution and contamination of the oceanwaters.Index Terms - Oil.
