LACK OF INFORMATION TRANSFER BETWEEN COURSES

Abstract


In recent years students seem to exhibit agreater tendency to carry less and less information from oneclass to another in a formal curriculum. This is a source offrustration for both the Faculty members in the foundationcourses and the Faculty members in the later courses. Theauthors, who are Professors for a pre-requisite Physicssequence and later construction courses at the same collegewill share examples and some solutions about this nontransferphenomenon.Index Terms ⎯ Physics, construction, information transfer,University of Cincinnati.
