CRITICAL FACTORS IN THE IMPLANTATION OF NEW EUROPEAN STUDIES PROGRAM: THE SPANISH CASE

Abstract


Good designs of new studies in EngineeringHigher Education is not enough to guarantee the success ofthe new studies programs. These memories includechallenges and changes never faced before by theuniversities’ staff that must be overcome. This paperidentifies, in opinion of the author, the key factors that mustbe dealt with the implantacion of these programs:understanding the accreditation oriented process, learningguides, treatment of the generic competences, neworganization and the application of a methodology forchanges management.Index Terms  ⎯ European Higher Education, competencies,assessment, degrees.
