ALGORITMO DE RECONHECIMENTO DE VOZ PARA A INSERÇÃO EM SISTEMAS EMBARCADOS

Abstract


The speech recognition technology is beenincreasingly used in electronic systems and devices, in severalapplications. This mainly occurs due to advances intechnology such as digital signal processing, microprocessorsand the appearance of recognition algorithms more and moreeffective. This paper presents a recognition system of voicecommands to drive a DC motor, whose algorithm wasdeveloped in MATLAB and tested in SIMULINK environment.The algorithm analyzes the speech signal characteristicscompared to the reference signals by cross-correlationbetween them, to determine which command was performed.The developed system has only two commands: "activateengine" that results in a logic 1 used to drive the motor, and"end" that results in a logic level 0 to turn off the engine, bySIMULINK. Although simple, the system achieved a good setof performance.
