COMUNICACIÓN PARA LA INGENIERÍA: LOGROS Y RESULTADOS DE LA IMPLEMENTACIÓN DEL MÉTODO DE PROYECTOS
Abstract
Communication for Engineering constitutes acurricular innovation that knows no antecedents. Formingpart of the Introductory course to our university, it enablesour students to reach a privileged curriculum space for thepromotion and development of their competences andabilities. These are required for their adequate academicand professional performance: personal, interpersonal andprofessional skills linked to communication and team work,those related to problem solving and cross abilities: whichallow for autonomy in their learning. It links the task ofEngineering with its oral and written communication,focusing on topics like the process of design, decision taking,and Engineering as a profession and its ethics. Its designand multidisciplinary constitution allow for theimplementation of Active Learning as a didacticmethodology. The present work aims to present the subjectand its central activity: the Project of Engineering, itevaluates its achievements and the results of itsimplementation.
