PROJETO DE RECURSOS EDUCACIONAIS PARA A MODALIDADE A DISTÂNCIA: DIRETRIZES COM BASE NO PERFIL DO ALUNO DE SISTEMAS DE INFORMAÇÃO
Abstract
This paper describes and analyses the profile ofthe distance education student on information systems. Theaim is to provide insights for the design of educationalresources. The profile is obtained based on data from250students, of the information systems course at UniversidadeFederal de São Carlos. Results show that most of thestudents are male, work, own a computer and are able to useit. The student is also characterized respecting to income,age, skills in English, distance from home to the universityadvanced office, and other issues. Based on the students´profile, directions are presented, relating to subjects ascomputational infrastructure, distribution of educationalresources through digital media, choosing dates foractivities at the university advanced office, and about the useof texts in English.
