Abstract

The present study aimed to construct a teachingmodel for robotics curriculum for technology education withPBL (Problem Based Learning) in senior high school. Fortysevententh graders participated in this project, which lastedfor eighteen weeks to testify the feasibility of the course. This study results was the second stage of three-yearresearch project that supported by National Science Councilof Taiwan. After experiment classes, we interviewed studentsin-depth and collected their evaluation and questionnaires.Analyses of the collected data bear the following findings.First, 81.35% students agree that the experimental classesgave them a better understanding of Robotics Technology.Second, 95.65% students felt satisfied with the RoboticsCurriculum. Third, students performed better in problemsolving, logical thinking, and they learned more abouttechnology as well. In a word, such a curriculum proved tobe feasible in senior high school.
